We can provide services from project definition right through to final detailed design. The range of typical services is outlined below and can be tailored to suit individual project requirements.
• Project definition – this is a critical area as it determines the extent and nature all of the future design stages as well as the actual construction. It is essential that the definition accurately articulates your requirements but does not inhibit the ability of the designers to establish how best to meet the actual needs. We will ensure that the project requirements are defined in a manner that clearly establishes your fundamental requirements but does not limit the ability of the professional design team to innovate and optimise the design to deliver the best value solution.
• Form/engage the delivery team – Engaging the right team is essential as the design team needs to have the specific experience and skill needed to enable it to efficiently deliver the required output. We will assist in identifying suitable designers for each individual work package and ensuring their terms of engagement are appropriate to the project.
• Define and articulate the requirements – We will provide definitions for all work packages required to ensure that the requirements are clearly understood by everyone.
• Co-ordinate and manage the design process – We will establish a delivery programme which will inform all parties of the timescales and interface requirements. We will then use this programme to assist in co-ordinating and managing the design process
• Control the budget and delivery programme – we will agree a budget for the design process which is linked to the delivery programme and will use these tools to manage the timely delivery of the required design.
